We are conveniently located in the center of downtown Hermann and all of our guests are easily within walking distance of a number of shops, restaurants, and wineries. We consider ourselves the perfect country inn that serves breakfast (depending on consensus).

We were passing through Missouri when I saw a sign for The Harbor Haus. Gave them a call and made a reservation for tonight. It was Excellent in all ways. They were extremely accommodating. My wife was having trouble getting around and the only thing they had available was up 4 steps. We gave it a shot. The room was Quaint, Clean and Comfortable. Much like you might find in Europe at a Bed & Breakfast. We were hungry and they recommended the Harvest Table a few blocks away. Turned out to be Romantic and Comfortable with great food. Our room with the 4 steps proved to be a problem for my wife. In the morning I told them we would have to push on, because of it. But Frank (the owner) was able to move us to a ground level unit, so we stayed a extra night in another, Clean and Comfortable unit. Their Free Breakfast was fantastic. Not your normal. They do an Egg Creation we enjoyed, along with that Cream Puffs and other things. The décor in the place was a little like you would expect in Holland or Germany. My wife is from Germany and the Lady working there was too and of the other Guest spoke some German. Hearing the conversations added to the atmosphere. If you want place full of Charm and Character we would highly recommend it. If you want the same ole thing cut from the same mold, I would stay away.
