I grew up in the South where the gorgeous beauty of landscape is legendary and story-telling is a way of life. Brush and Palette Club
Our mission is to preserve the local heritage and culture and to promote the arts. We recently completed the Rotunda Restoration Project and have begun a Cemetery Restoration Project. Built in 1864 as an agricultural exhibition hall, today the Rotunda stands ready for use for virtually any respectful purpose, including agricultural exhibitions. Having lived in Hermann for 30 years, Catherine has maintained an active interest in the Hermann community and area involved as the Hermann Arts Council Past-President; in schools as Art Instructor, substitute teacher and PTO Past-President; and area churches as Sunday School teacher, VBS teacher and pianist/organist; with youth, Scouts, and 4-H Programs; also serving as the Gasconade County Fair Art Department Chairman.
