The Clara Eitmann Messmer Amphitheatre was dedicated Monday, May 31, 2006, in Hermann Missouri located on Gutenberg Street between Fourth and Fifth Streets. The amphitheatre exists because of a generous donation from Clara Messmer. The Hermann City Park Campground has 18 full hookups (water, electric & sewer), 24 water & electric hookups, and 8 electric hookups. We also offer tent camping. Local soccer and baseball teams use the field for practices and games. The Upper City Park in Hermann Missouri is a local gathering place for many events and festivities. The park is able to hold large events because of the amenities it offers. One of which is the covered pavilion and tables and seating for guests. There is ample grass area and also a covered concession stand.
