Designated as the county seat of Gasconade County, Missouri in 1842, Hermann Missouri is located on the south side of the Missouri River. Access to Hermann can be gained by taking Hwy 19 south across the river and over the Senator Christopher S. Bond Bridge. Other access include traveling West on Hwy 100 through New Haven and Washington, MO. The city has almost 3 square miles with the Missouri River to the north and Frene Creek running through several parts of the town.
Hermann is intrinsically known for its history and wineries.
