The area is wonderful, rich in history, culture and great folks who know the value of hard work and the value of money as well. These folks take their jobs very seriously and I would stack up their work ethics against anyone I have ever met in my life, Donna states.

Hermann, Missouri, is a fantastic town and more than that an entire community! Born and raised just miles from the city limits on our family farm, I went to all my 12 years of education through the local Catholic School, St. George Catholic School, and the public middle school and Hermann High School.
It was a fantastic educational system, and the kids were great to grow up alongside. Unlike many schools, our 1975 graduating class did not have a lot of cliches and things like that. The basketball team got along with the football team and the FFA farming group got along with everyone as well. Band members and concert choir, my personal favorite since I was part of it, also had outstanding performers and a great collection of kids that participated in athletics as well as the cultural side of the arts. The teachers and administrative staff of the school system were excellent and truly cared about the kids and the level of education that they received.
It was cool and I am so Blessed to have grown up in this great town. If you are looking for a place that you can raise your family, live a clean country life and enjoy the small business entrepreneurship that exists in this town, then you should consider living in the Hermann, Missouri, marketplace.
I know that still today, many parents make real choices to keep their children in the schools there and commute to work as far away as St. Louis, Missouri, in order to make sure that the family has the culture and the moral fiber upbringing that is so important to them. That is very admirable and they are truly making the choice to give up sleep aka the drive and commute for the sake of getting their kiddos great education.
Home schooling is very popular as well, which is great since that keeps the family even more connected. I watched a video the other day that showed children being isolated with technology opposed to being held like their need and deserve. Let’s make sure we keep our children loved and connected to our family.
Consider Hermann, Missouri, not just for the fun of the winery visits and the historic building tours and wonderful bed and breakfasts, but also for living there and enjoying it as your home.
