Say Cheese Wine Trail 2014 – Star Lane – Three Saints – Hermannhof

Located at the Highway 100 entrance to Hermann Missouri stands the majestic Hermannhof and Star Lane Winery.  With the fresh layer of snow, each building was a great retreat from the outside cold.  At Star Lane visitors to the Hermann area were greeted with a Fontina, Prosciutto, and Asparagus tart which was paired with Three Saints Chardonnay.  Hermannhof treated its wine trail participants to a grilled shrimp -panzanella skewer with fresh mozzarella and balsamic drizzle which was paired with Vidal Blanc.
