The Wurstfest Festival is enjoyed by locals and visitors to Hermann Missouri from all over the state and beyond. The smell of bratwurst and BBQ coming from the smokers and grills during Wurstfest is tempting enough to want to try every morsel from vendors visiting Hermann.
Many of the local and surrounding sausage makers come to Hermann to show off their skills. This festival is held on the fourth week of March. You can sample many of the different kinds of sausages as well as enjoy the music and dancing. The Weiner Dog Derby has been a regular part of this festival as well.
Don’t forget to sit back and relax in our beautiful town of Hermann while you listen to the live German music and watch the folk dancers. There’s always conversation during the amateur sausage competition and aspirations run high as the best of the best professional sausage makers show off. People of all ages and locations love coming to this event and enjoying all the sights and sounds it has to offer.
