The Hermann Wurst Haus is located in historic, downtown Hermann Missouri. Mike and Lynette Sloan, owners of the Hermann Wurst Haus, opened the doors on September 1, 2011. Combined they have more than 70 years of experience in the meat processing business and produce more than 62 varieties of fresh and smoked wursts, bacon, summer sausages and hams.
All sausages and bratwurst are handcrafted in-house by three-time hall of famer, Wurstmeister Mike Sloan. Wurstmeister Mike has won more than 500 international, national, regional, and state awards; including 14 best of show honors. The deli-style restaurant menu showcases bratwursts, hickory-smoked pulled pork, deli meat sandwiches, German specialties and house-made side dishes such as German potato salad, red cabbage, baked beans and Peach Pecan Bread Pudding. The Hermann Wurst Haus also brews 4 craft beers and 5 specialty sodas to complement our fine wurst. Enjoy a wide selection of local wines and beers either indoors or at an outdoor table. We feature an extensive retail shop with an emphasis on Missouri-made products, gourmet foods, sausage making supplies, a Wurst Haus line of sauces and spices.
If you have a group of 15 or more, check out our group tours throughout the facility. For one hour, you will be guided and given a chance to sample some of the best sausages in the state. Afterwards, enjoy some of the products in the store and we will even load your selection of brats and meat products onto the motorcoach for you.
