Röbller Winery – Hermann Chocolate Wine Trail 2014
Röbller Winery was a hub of activity during this year’s Hermann Missouri Chocolate Wine Trail. A beautiful table was laid with many plates filled with a beautiful Double Chocolate Scone topped with a reduction and fresh sliced strawberries. The chocolate scone was paired with their very own Kasselfest Sweet Red wine and was a perfect balance between light and heavy. With the hearts hanging around the location and wine flowing, it was a perfect setting for a chocolate treat. Say Cheese Wine Trail 2013 – Adam Puchta Winery
The owner, Tim Puchta, was out early in the morning making sure the roads were in good shape for visitors. The Adam Puchta Winery provided a delicious Smoked Salmon and Goat Cheese Torta. This beautifully prepared dish was served at a party earlier in the year and was paired with Puchta’s own Vignoles. The views of the new fallen snow were breathtaking at the top of the hill at OakGlenn Winery just outside Hermann Missouri. They prepared a delicious nacho cheese soup for visitors and used a nicely designed mug that each wine trail participant was able to take with them. Say Cheese Wine Trail 2014 – Star Lane – Three Saints – Hermannhof
Located at the Highway 100 entrance to Hermann Missouri stands the majestic Hermannhof and Star Lane Winery. With the fresh layer of snow, each building was a great retreat from the outside cold. At Star Lane visitors to the Hermann area were greeted with a Fontina, Prosciutto, and Asparagus tart which was paired with Three Saints Chardonnay.
